Reflection

After having some artists shown to me in the lecture I started to rethink how I want to present my idea and link it back to something more personal, since in the song that is the starting point, the message is that "if you live like that, so what'. It is about the need to live as an individual rather than to follow a one size fits all rule. Thinking about this and thinking about the element of deception that is listed in the primer, I re-decided on my idea. I wanted my photos to present the mundaneness and repetitiveness of life, whilst the audience is still being deceived so that my outcome is a version of the truth. I will have somebody act as my model and I will take photos of them acting out a day of my life, mundane and boring but a lie as it's not me.
